Who Built The Pyramids?

Tonight I'm resting up watching a fascinating youtube video about the impossibility that the pyramids and other ancient wonders were built by men possessing simple technologies. I recommend it. I'm at 30 minutes now.

It's well worth watching revealing many secret aspects I had not heard of before, and some that I had. For example the metre was the unit of measure of the pyramids. Work that one out!!!!

The end is disappointing, as it fails to answer any of the questions the film raises, and shoots off into an Al Gore climate change kind of explanation, which I don't buy at all. It shows that the film makers need to get paid, sure, but is not any kind of explanation. The search for the real history of humankind continues.

I would like to bring the knowledge from genetic science which shows that man is only 150,000 years to bear, for example.

Fascinating stuff and stimulating once the boring rubbish from current politics is filtered out.

Thanks for putting that up, I've just watched it all and found it thoroughly entertaining.

I wouldn't like to commit to a belief in the conclusions reached as there would be still more questions to be asked.

I don't think that failure to answer its own questions should be viewed as detrimental to the film itself. It would probably be worse if it stated categorically that the answer was this or that.

The only annoying thing I found was that damned arrogant Frenchman. You'll know the one!

Thanks again for posting it.

While agreeing with the very intelligent points you make Xen, I feel that the film makes a statement, without words that say exactly this, that the pyramids and other similarly built monuments around the world were built far longer ago than 4000 years.

They were not built by the Egyptians as we were always told they were.

The people who built the pyramids were a highly advanced civilisation, who had access to air transportation, mathematics and engineering equal to or above the level of today's. They could measure the earth with total accuracy. They had an earth-centric view of the universe - believing in the zodiac, and were aware of the earth's 23,000c year cycle.

They knew where magnetic north was.

Totally unexplained were the skulls which appear deformed, but which suggest other forms of humankind to ours have existed on earth.

The people who built the pyramids may have died out, and left behind their monuments to tell us who they were.

If the peoples of the earth died out, what kind of catastrophe was it that eliminated them? Was it solar weather - fires effectively? Or floods caused by a shift in the poles which happens from time to time.

I am sure there are people alive now who know the answers to these questions, but the information is being kept in the hands of those who believe themselves of a higher level to the rest of us.

The sphinx is dated 12500 years ago by these scientists -

No, that's cultural practice. If you start at birth and bandage the head in a certain way you can do that. Presumably it's done to show status.

"other forms of humankind"

Neanderthals and Denisovians.
