Oddly enough the story will be a little more credible if pre-trial because why would you let these alllegations come to the fore in open court which is under oath and has subpoena powers?

The details has been published before of the passenger not having a passport and being helped onto the plane by someone in a suit overriding the gate.
This is just confirmation of the story.
